Pastor Michael arrived at West Vally Church in August 2015 with his wife, Mindy, and infant daughter, Jane. They welcomed their second daughter, Rebecca, in January 2017. They are currently expecting the arrival of their third child in June 2019.

Michael has previous Alaska roots, having spent most of his childhood years in North Pole, Alaska. He was ordained as an minister in the Church of the Nazarene in July 2014 while serving as a pastor in Mattoon, IL. He is passionate about touching the lives of people in the Matsu Valley with the love, grace, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. His hobbies include music, sports of all kinds, and board games. He is passionate about spending time with others while utilizing those hobbies and other activities to do so. He feels there is no better way to minister to someone than to spend life with them.

You can find Pastor Michael involved in the community as part of the West Lakes Fire Department (Engineer & Chaplain) as well as serving on the board of the Frontline Mission, a compassionate ministry center (food, clothing, etc.) in the MatSu Valley.

Life Verse:

Galatians 2:20 ~ "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."  (NIV)
